The PTA holds several special events each year to build support for our school, both within our immediate school community and beyond. Parent involvement is critical to making these events a success. We encourage everyone to join a committee, volunteer, and get involved.

Chelsea Prep's highly anticipated annual Halloween and Fall Festival! Help us transform the gym and auditorium into a wonderland of spooky activities--including a haunted house, creepy chess castle games, spooky slime-making and pumpkin decorating!

Fun Run

PS.33 Chelsea Prep is hosting our 2nd Fun Run to raise funds for enrichment programs. Family and friends anywhere in the world can support our school by giving pledges toward the number of laps your student will run on the day of the Fun Run, November 6th. Our 2-week Fun Run program kicks off on October 27th!
This year's Boosterthon character theme is Castle Quest, an English castle theme all about bravery. Students will learn the six virtues of a "true hero" from a cast of colorful characters, as they seek to regain Bravemore Castle by completing six challenging tests

Multicultural Dinner

A long-standing PS33 tradition, the Multicultural Dinner celebrates the diversity of our school community with a potluck feast! This popular event takes place over several nights in November. Join other families in your grade for a night of food, fun and family. Contact to find out how to bring a dish or volunteer to help out.

Annual Gala

The 5th Annual PS33 "Hitting the High Notes" Gala was a great evening and a big success not only in terms of raising funds, but also for celebrating our school, old and new friendships, our collaborative efforts, and our teachers. The funds raised from the auction and event will support the PS33 Music and Art programs, as well as Recess Coaches.

Community Day Carnival

Come join us for a day of fun in our very own playground. Our Community Day Carnival is a blast for kids, parents, teachers and staff! Traditionally held on a June weekend, the carnival features a giant bouncy house and slide, DJ, face painting, craft activities, student-made carnival games and fun food. It’s a wonderful celebration of friends, family, and the summer to come. This year’s carnival will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Please contact if you’d like to help with this event.
*Due to playground renovations starting in March, this year's Carnival will be replaced with Movie Night on 20th April
