The PTA holds several special events each year to build support for our school, both within our immediate school community and beyond. Parent involvement is critical to making these events a success. We encourage everyone to join a committee, volunteer, and get involved.

November: Multicultural Dinner

March: Annual Gala

June: Community Day Carnival

Multicultural Dinner

A long-standing PS33 tradition, the Multicultural Dinner celebrates the diversity of our school community with a potluck feast! This popular event takes place over several nights in November. Join other families in your grade for a night of food, fun and family. Contact to find out how to bring a dish or volunteer to help out.

Annual Gala

The Third Annual PS33 “Hitting the High Notes” Gala will take place on March 22, 2016 and the Online Auction will run from March 1-25. Enjoy a lovely evening with fine food, company and drinks while bidding and shopping for a great cause. Bid well! Bid often! Bid generously! 100% of the proceeds from the event and auction will benefit your children at PS33. We have over 150 fantastic auction items, special teacher play dates, and class projects. The funds raised from the auction and event are what SOLEY support the PS33 music and arts programs, as well as the purchase of new technology resources for our students that are not funded by the DOE. Ticket sales for the event and the online auction are now open:

Community Day Carnival

Come join us for a day of fun in our very own playground. Our Community Day Carnival is a blast for kids, parents, teachers and staff! Traditionally held on a June weekend, the carnival features a giant bouncy house and slide, DJ, face painting, craft activities, student-made carnival games and fun food. It’s a wonderful celebration of friends, family, and the summer to come. This year’s carnival will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Please contact if you’d like to help with this event.
