PS 33 School Leadership team

The school leadership team, comprised of an equal number of staff and parents, is responsible for providing ongoing evaluations of a school’s educational programs and their impact on student achievement. The SLT plays an important role in school-based decision-making and ensures the comprehensive education plan is achievable within the parameters of the annual school budget.

SLT meetings are open to members of the school community. The school community consists of parents/guardians of children currently attending the school, teachers and staff. Members of the school community who are not SLT members may request speaking time at meetings to discuss specific topics. All such requests must be submitted in writing to the Chairperson or Co-chairperson at least a week in advance of a meeting. Non SLT members are encouraged to bring issues of concern to their constituent representative(s) on the team prior to team meetings.
